A new nonprofit art center with galleries for your ceremony or cocktail hour, an exposed wood-beamed performance space for your dinner or dancing, and a private garden for tented festivities make KinoSaito the lower Hudson Valley’s most exciting space for unique weddings and special events. Whether your dream is an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, our flexible space configurations both indoors and out bring your vision of your wedding day to life in any season.

A four-bedroom, two bathroom fully furnished house on the property can provide a respite for family and friends. Two spacious live/work sun-filled artist studios can serve as bride and groom dressing suites. There is no part of our space that cannot be transformed to make it just right for your custom-designed destination wedding. You can even choose your own caterer and other service providers to have the menu, flowers, decorations and ambiance exactly as you’ve dreamed.

Located in the historic hamlet of Verplanck, New York, just blocks from the banks of the Hudson River less than an hour outside New York City, KinoSaito is situated near many charming Westchester and Hudson Valley River towns, historic sites and museums.

Recent renovations have preserved the charm and warmth of our 100-year old brick school building, while providing all the conveniences and amenities of a modern space. Exposed brick, tin ceilings and beautifully patinaed walls revealing layers of history meet soaring windows capturing gorgeous natural light in high-ceilinged spaces.

KinoSaito was the property of the artist Kikuo Saito and his wife Mikiko Ino who, after his death, lovingly restored this former school building into their shared dream of a space for artistic innovation and experimentation. A space filled with creativity, generosity and a love of the arts–there is no place like KinoSaito for your special day.
