KinoSaito Awarded $92k by the New York State Council on the Arts for a Digital Viewing Room

Verplanck, NY – KinoSaito Art Center announced today a grant award totaling $92,000 from the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) to support KinoSaito’s Digital Viewing Room. This grant is part of a capital project funding announcement by NYSCA, which totals over $86 million to 134 capital projects across New York State.

This grant will fund the construction of KinoSaito’s new blackout gallery designed with the latest technology to be the perfect environment for screening films and presenting experimental multi-media installations. It will both expand thier exhibition space while also giving more ambitious possibilities for future public programming.

“Our arts and culture sector is a powerhouse, inspiring the world with innovation and creativity,” Governor Hochul said. “By investing in our museums, our theaters and our arts centers, we enrich our communities, strengthen local economies and improve tourism all over the State.”
