Larkin LoGerfo Gallery Naming Rights Ceremony at KinoSaito

7 Sept. 2024 | 4pm

We are honored to invite you to the upcoming Gallery Naming Rights Ceremony at KinoSaito. This is a significant event as we celebrate the profound friendship between the late Kikuo Saito and the late Dr. Paul LoGerfo, and acknowledge their impressive impact on many communities, along with the steadfast support of Kristin Larkin LoGerfo.

Dr. Paul LoGerfo, known for his expertise as a Thyroid Specialist at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center and his artistic endeavors as a sculptor, made remarkable contributions to our community. He saved countless lives and innovated scientific advancements to create lasting figures in memory of his patients, including Kikuo’s first wife. He also treated Ellen Stewart, founder of La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club, showcasing his far-reaching influence. His deep bond with Kikuo Saito, a revered artist and mentor, exemplified their shared commitment to creativity and philanthropy.

Kristin Larkin LoGerfo, an artist and Paul’s widow, continues to uphold their legacies through her generous support of the arts. Their contributions will be honored through the LARKIN LOGERFO GALLERY, which will feature a rotating collection of Kikuo Saito’s work spanning 50 years, celebrating their enduring impact on our community.

KinoSaito is an art center dedicated to creating and practicing abstract art, committed to fostering experimentation across various forms and media while advancing the vision of its founding muse, Kikuo Saito.

The ceremony will also coincide with our 3rd anniversary and garden party. Please join us on Saturday, September 7th, 2024, at 4 pm at KinoSaito Art Center at 115 7th St., Verplanck, NY 10596, as we commemorate this notable occasion. Please RSVP for the ceremony using the free ticket code: CODE (case-sensitive).
