It’s that time of year again!
KinoSaito is excited to announce our open call for the 2025 KinoSaito Annual: Community Art Benefit! Artists in all stages of their careers from the Hudson Valley and beyond are welcome to submit their works to be included for this special opportunity. This year we are excited to announce we will be extending the exhibition dates. With this 6-day exhibition, we aim to highlight the wealth of talent and skill in artistic ability that can be found in our local community.
We are thankful for the love and support that our community has given us, and we want to continue to work together to maintain a space for artists of all disciplines of making and moving, free of borders and definitions. The selected works will be exhibited with sales encouraged, though not guaranteed, salon style at KinoSaito, with an opening reception including refreshments provided. This open call is both an opportunity for artists to show and sell their work, as well as fundraising for KinoSaito as we head into our fifth year of operations. 50% of sale price will be retained by the artist, and 50% will be accepted by KinoSaito as donation from the artist.

Eligibility
All accepted artists will be required to transport their own work both to KinoSaito prior to showing, as well as pick up their work after, in the case that it does not sell during the exhibition period. Therefore, only artists within commuting distance to KinoSaito (located at 115 7th Street, Verplanck, NY 10596) are eligible to submit. Artists in any stage of their careers are encouraged to apply.

Exhibition Dates: December 12-21, 2025
Submission Deadline: November 14, 2025
Artists notified of acceptance: November 23, 2025
Drop off dates:
December 8, 2025 | 10am-5pm

Opening Reception & Year-End Winter Celebration: December 13, 2025 | 4-7pm
Pick up dates:
December 21, 2025 | 5-8pm

Submission Guidelines
Please keep in mind that applications that do not follow the submission guidelines will not be considered.
All media may be accepted
Artwork price must not exceed $3,000
Artwork must not be larger than 36 inches in any direction
All artworks must be ready to hang and/or ready to be displayed
All artworks must be for sale, with the understanding that 50% of the sale price will be taken as donation to KinoSaito as part of the Winter Open Call Fundraiser
There is no application fee to apply, though a suggested donation of $10 per submission is greatly appreciated. Artists must also be aware that submission of artworks will be considered as a 50% profit donation to KinoSaito, should their piece sell while included in this exhibition.
Application Materials
Each artist may submit up to 2 works to be considered for this group exhibition. For submission to be considered, artists must include:
Artist’s email address
Phone number and home address
Link to website and/or social media if applicable
Image list submitted as .pdf that includes image of the artwork with Artist Name, Title, Year, Materials, Size, and Artwork Price
The file should be labeled with “Artist’s last name” and “image list” (ex: LastName_ImageList.pdf)
Short Bio and/or Artist Statement not exceeding 250 words submitted as .pdf
The file should be labeled with “Artist’s last name” and “Artist Bio” (ex: LastName_ArtistBio.pdf)
