Nkechi Ebubedike is a Nigerian-American artist currently living in New York City. Recent exhibitions and art fairs include the Armory Show, 1-54 Art Fair in London, FNB Johannesburg Art Fair and screenings at the 18st Arts Center in Santa Monica California. Working across painting, sculpture, and video, she experiments with the distortion and suspension of meaningful, culturally significant images. She is a MA graduate from Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design, London (2011) and has a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University. Her work has been featured in several shows and exhibitions in London and Lagos, Nigeria, and is in the collection of the Hessel Museum at Bard College.
